1. No user shall disagree with a moderator on any topic of a political, technical, or scientific nature. Any such dissent will be viewed as a personal attack on the moderator and a violation of this user agreement. Users found in violation shall be removed at the moderator’s discretion.
2. No user shall post any information or write anything which could be considered critical of a sponsor of Carsound, Carsound.com, moderators, or associated enterprises. Posting of information by sponsors, moderators, or associated enterprises, which could be considered critical of users, is perfectly acceptable, however.
3. A moderator may at their discretion remove any and all posts which contain information that may be construed as critical, or simply not promoting of carsound.com’s interests. As closing a post still makes the information available to others who have not yet made of up their minds, or may be unduly influenced by free thought, all traces must be removed, censored, and not spoken of again.
4. Debate is only allowed if a moderator wins, or the ultimate result is the promotion of carsound.com or it’s sponsors products.
5. No moderator is required to admit to error or inaccuracy on their part, no matter how blatant.
6. No person may openly criticize a moderator or any person who is in the good graces of a moderator. Such criticism will be deemed a personal attack regardless of the validity of the criticism. A moderator may openly criticise a user and it shall not be deemed a personal attack.
7. This is not a democracy. We may claim that it is, and promote ourselves as an open forum for car audio enthusiasts, but the ultimate purpose of the BBS is to drive traffic to carsound.com in order to bolster advertising prices.
8. Only on topic discussions are allowed. A discussion will be deemed off topic if it in any way does not promote the interests of carsound.com, it’s moderators, or sponsors.
9. Discussion about products or technologies which are not direct sponsors of carsound.com will be discouraged, and anything even remotely resembling something interesting will be immediately attacked, and it’s originator will be accused of violating the moderators patents and prior art.
10. Vulgarity, insults, personal attacks, off topic postings, or anything remotely humorous will not be tolerated unless it is directed at someone who dissents or disagrees with a moderator or towards an individual who is firmly attached to said moderators sack.

Carsound.com and it’s moderators reserve the right to amend and update this user agreement without further notice to the user, and is not necessarily required to notify the users of such changes or to provide prior notice.
