Local laws:

  • Use of radar detectors is illegal. Fine & confiscation will occur. Radar & laser detectors are in use by police & overhead choppers or other aircraft do monitor vehicle speed on occasion though I've never seen one.
  • Seatbelt use is in force & results in a $90 dollar fine.
  • Legal driving age is 16 accompanied by a licenced driver of age 18 or 18 without. Graduated licensing is in force.
  • Legal drinking age is 19.
  • Sound ordinances well that's a gray area basically up to officers discretion.
  • Tint laws. No tint on front glass or blackouts on headlamp & tail lamps. Basically no tinting allowed by law on all windows but common sence rule that officers allow is up to 50 % tint allowed on driver & passenger window, up to 80% tint allowed on rear & back seat side windows of 4 door cars or trucks. (Though 100% tint back there generates a fine.)
  • Use of "blue" tint lightbulbs on headlamps or use of offroad wattqage lights can result in a fine.
  • Bumper height cannot be reduced or raised to a point that would be greater than 3" from the position of a stock setup. Penalty is a fine.
