What is teamROCS?

teamROCS is the very first internet based car audio team! A team of individuals on the internet interested in enhancing their enjoyment of autosound! (and alot of other crap!)...
The Team has members worldwide, and members ranging from young to old, and members that are newbies all the way  to pros in the autosound industry. We participate in sponsoring cars in competitions and just about anything else related to car audio! Many members participate in the building of our website which is chock full of car audio information and constantly growing. Our team does all this while keeping a focus on fun and learning and laughing.
How do I join teamROCS?

fill out a teamROCS membership application

If we like what we see, your paperwork will be submitted to the teamROCS membership director. You will be then contacted by e-mail, informing you of your acceptance, at which time you will be asked to submit your US$50.00 membership fee.   When the funds have cleared, you will get a teamROCS t-shirt, subscription to the (TRML) teamROCS Mailing List, complimentary use of our equipment testing and "certification" services (especially handy for Internet dealings), autosound competition support and sponsorship, and assorted other official rights and responsibilities as a teamROCS member.

Who can join teamROCS?

Essentially, anyone whose application passes our inspection, pays the membership fee, and follows the teamROCS code of ethics can be a member. However, not everyone's application is up to par (and accommodations can be made for those of you that are too destitute to pay the fee... i.e. send us women, booze, or guns and you may get in).

Where can I see teamROCS in action?

We will be at CES, SBN, IASCA and USAC finals and assorted other events throughout the year promoting teamROCS and our causes. Look for the blue logo, and the bald messcin.

Where can I chat online with teamROCS members?

If you have ICQ, you can add the ICQ chat room &rec.audio.car (UIN #3130473).  Add user Snow-X as well (UIN # 10676866), note that you can get any users UIN # from the members section

If you are an IRC user, /join #teamROCS on efnet.

Do you allow Homosexuals in teamROCS?

We at teamROCS have a "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. Don't tell us you suck dick, and we won't tell you you can't join. Now lesbians, on the other hand, are welcomed with open...er...arms.

Who is the leader of teamROCS?

There is no leader per se. There is the executive committee, which is a counsel of permanent founding teamROCS members. Basically, we rule the roost, create and enforce the bylaws of the organization, and direct fiddling activities.

What services does teamROCS offer it's members?

as if we aren't doing enough already... teamROCS offers unlimited technical support (at least untill we get tired of yoru stupid questions) and advice to it's members, our teamROCS Certified Internet Retailers provide us with an adequate knowledge base for brands as diverse as Genesis, Dynaudio, and on down to Kenwood & Pioneer.

What is the teamROCS Go Between Service about?

Shopping on the internet is a bit of a risky proposition. There really are no guarantees that you're actually getting equipment instead of a brick in a box, and resolving matters of mail fraud is almost virtually impossible. That's where the teamROCS Go Between Service comes in. This service is available for free to members of teamROCS, and for a nominal charge to non-members. When you make your arrangements to purchase equipment (or sell), you send your money or item to a teamROCS Certified Internet Retailer who acts as the Go Between. The other person sends their item or money there as well. When both are received, the Go Between will certify that the equipment is valid and in working order. Then, the Go Between will forward the money and product on to the recipients. If the equipment is not as promised, then the items will be returned to their respective senders.
